July 2010

Larards Lets and Lets Sell support Hull City on their pre-season launch day at the KC Stadium, with over 8,000 fans in attendance.

The Larards Lets team with our stall at the event, and Hull City fans visit for letting and sales information.

The crowds gather to take part in our "guess the number of keys in the jar" competition and winner of Rory the Tiger - James age 3 from West Hull.

March 2010

Larards Lets officially open our new premises at 18 Grammar School Yard, Castle Street, Hull, HU1 1SE.  Members of the letting and management team open The Property Shop, taking lettings and sales enquiries at our new City Centre location.  Head office remains at The Property Centre, Main Street, Willerby, Hull, HU10 6BP.

Lets Go Green continues to produce EPCs in the hundreds, and provide energy saving advice to landlords, tenants and buyers.

Lets Sell continues to achieve successful sale rates despite the poor sales market conditions.

Hayley Oldfield, Senior Property Manager, celebrates 21 years with the company this month. "From first starting in 1988 I saw Larards, as it was then, as the premier letting agent.  Having worked through numerous positions within the company I still uphold that view now.  I have been successful in obtaining a number of qualifications cumulating with my membership of ARLA.  I am happy to be able to say I work for a company that is honest, reliable and conscientious to both landlords and tenants.  I look forward to many more years with a company still striving to improve on an excellent service."

The residential sales arm of our company is re-branded as Lets Sell, providing residential sales services for investors and home owners in Hull and The East Riding of Yorkshire.

The Nationwide Building Society branch agency at Willerby goes from strength to strength with the installation of another customer service point.  We are able to offer banking, loans and savings products and with new technology recently installed, our agency and customer service is even better.

Larards Property Management Limited, trading as Larards Lets, acquired the Residential Letting and Property Management business of F A Larard and Sons.  “This is a natural and seemless progression of business ensuring continuity of service for our existing clients”.  Directors Glen Welbourne and Lesley Ormston, each having over 20 years experience with Larards, and Associate, Kay Welbourne, now have the challenge of bringing the business into a new era.

June 2003 
Lesley Ormston is appointed Director of Larards Lets.

Larards Property Management Limited (now trading as Larards Lets) is established by Glen Welbourne (Managing Director) and Kay Welbourne (Associate and Company Secretary) as an independent and privately owned Company.  Negotiations are in hand to acquire the Property Management business from John and Stephen Larard.

December 2002 
Nationwide Building Society Branch agency is opened at The Property Centre, Willerby.

September 2002 
In a bold move overseen by Glen Welbourne, F A Larard & Sons relocate their Property Management Department from Lowgate, Hull, to prominent new offices at The Property Centre, Main Street, Willerby, HU10 6BP.
